She may never have had any formal musical training and she didn’t even need much in the way of a range but what she lacked Billie Holiday more than made up for with her own voice. Holiday was also packed together with her improvisational skills. People were drawn to her voice, and were adored by how she could deliver a song with elegance and poise. From a young age she was a gifted singer, and her voice motivated her to a career that lasted well into her forties when she sadly passed away due to cirrhosis. Even after her passing her songs was maintained as a part of pop culture that continually pops up now and again to the delight of the ones that love the old time jazz that was sound.

It’s kind of an odd song to hear in a show but to be truthful more and more TV shows and movies are starting to come around to incorporating songs to their soundtracks. It’s almost like a nod of respect to the past whatsoever. In most ways it’s nice to find because it reminds a great deal of us that we don’t even must overlook the past.

Billie Holiday certainly had a angel’s voice.
